Refunds and Returns

At Just Plain Charming each piece of jewellery and ceramics is meticulously handcrafted with care and affection. Each piece made will be unique having it's own charm and character. We believe that imperfections are what make handmade items truly special and distinctive and would hope that every piece is cherished and loved. However, It's also important to reflect that sometimes despite best efforts, things may not be up to the usual high quality standard or you may not be fully content with your purchase.

 

Ensuring every customer has a happy interaction is hugely important to us so should you encounter any issues or find that a piece doesn't quite align with your expectations, please don't hesitate to reach out and we can discuss how we may best help resolve the issue.

Return Policy

​To be eligible for a return and refund for any reason you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it (excluding non-returnable items). After 14 days items may only be sent back if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.

Your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Items must be sent back by post. When returning items we strongly advise you to obtain proof of posting and using Special Delivery or Tracked Royal Mail for insurance purposes as we cannot be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit. Proof of postage will be required by the customer to make a claim with the courier.

Refund Policy

As soon as we have received the item and have inspected it we will let you know if the refund will be issued. If approved it will be automatically returned to your original payment method. This may take up to 10 working days dependent on your card supplier. If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved please contact us

Shipping Costs

Please be aware that any postage or courier fees incurred for returning unwanted items will not be refunded. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Faulty/Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if you find the piece defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will work with you quickly to replace the item or issue a  refund 

Non-Returnable

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned (unless faulty). These include:

  • Personalised Items 

  • Bespoke custom orders

  • Made to order items

  • Repairs or altered items 

  • Sale Items

  • Studs or any earrings with non-removable ear wires

Lost In Transit

We use tracked services for postage on our items to ensure the delivery process is as smooth as possible. Usually 10 working days must have passed before classed as 'lost'. If your package is confirmed lost in transit by the shipping carrier, we will take immediate action to resolve the issue depending on the outcome of the investigation, we will offer either a replacement or a refund.
