What You Will Learn:

This session covers the step by step process of some basic silversmith skills

• Sizing: How to measure your finger correctly

• Cutting/Filing: Using a jeweller’s piercing saw and/or cutters to cut wire and filing to prepare the ends for soldering

• Soldering: Using the blowtorch to solder the metal

• Shaping/texturing: Make rings round and the option to add unique textures.

• Finishing: Learning to finish and polish silver
