A new favourite mug

This was another fun little project - this was a request for a mug that closely matched another. It was for a friend who was moving back to the UK from Australia and couldn't take this mug she'd fallen in love with, with her (it was a friends with who she was staying). Protecting design rights andnot wanting to copy another artists work, the shape was similar to the original but a new handle design made. The colour was also similar with a dark green glaze and the design on the front was changed. I suggested instead it be the native flower of where she was staying in Australia. The result was this unique mug that can become a new favourite but forever remind her of her travels to Australia
